Little Bits

I was only able to make it to one day of the Lake Champlain Bridge celebration, due to illness, but it was lovely to see and meet the people who stopped by! I also completed several more mini-canvases in preparation, and one (Iridescent Butterfly) during the actual event!

Minis!

I'm going to be participating in the Lake Champlain Bridge Celebration event! To prepare, I've been making sure I have prints all ready to go, as well as working on a slew of new mini-paintings! This week, I have these two new ones to share, and you'll be able to easily tell they're a part of my Alice series:

The key is done in iridescent gold paint, and the bottle in iridescent purple. Both shift and change and look metallic in the light, something I wish the camera could capture! They're both even better in person!

I have a cat in the Mad Hatter's hat in a 6x6" that I'm working on, along with a frog climbing on a red mushroom, and an owl in front of a moon. I'm hoping to continue this week painting a lot of minis, so look for more as the week carries on!

I'll get back to the bigger Alice in Wonderland paintings once the event is over (I can't wait to start in on my white rabbit! He's all sketched out and just begging for me to paint him in!)

I hope you can come down and say hello at the celebration if you're in Vermont!
